Lviv region and Israel will cooperate closely for the creation of new rehabilitation center

Therapy of the military, having posttraumatic syndrome, medical staff training on first aid and rehabilitation of the ATO victims are three main lines in which Israeli experts will cooperate with Ukrainian ones.

These initiatives are the most important, said Mr. Belotserkovski, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Israel in Ukraine, during the meeting with the representatives of the Lviv Regional State Administration and City Council that took place on 31st of March.

The participants of Israeli delegation, except for Mr. Belotserkovski, were Mr. Vyshniakov, the Honorary Consul of Israel in the Western region of Ukraine, and Joseph Baratz, the Counsellor on Health of the Interior Minister of the State of Israel. The meeting with the City Council was headed by Andriy Sadovy, the Lviv City Mayor. Rostislav Zamlynsky, the First Deputy Governor, met the Israeli delegation in the Regional State Administration.

“Israel has great experience, especially in health care. We are ready to share this experience with Ukrainian doctors in these turbulent for Ukraine times” said Mr. Belotserkovski.

Mr. Joseph Baratz announced that trainings on posttraumatic syndrome and first aid are under development. Under favourable conditions, these trainings will be held in Lviv in the nearest future. “It is important that all victims return to normal live as soon as possible” Joseph Baratz said.

Israeli officials stressed their willingness to support the Lviv region in the creation of modern rehabilitation center.

In the end of the meeting, Mr. Zamlinsky suggested to develop a written agreement, in which both parties could commit all the initiatives. Such an agreement would facilitate the implementation of these intentions.
